Ginger Bread Men for School Fair

Maddy was busy busy decorating all of these ginger bread men for her school fair. She painstakingly iced all 68 of them and everyone of them were sold.

My new little Tiida was crashed into by a 4WD while my husband was waiting at a round-a-bout. And she isn't even 1 year old : (

It looks worse than it was and thankfully we had it reapaired and back on the road one week after the accident.

Hello Again

Wow, how time flies, I haven't added anything since NOVEMBER and yet it only seems like yesterday????

I'll warn you this will be a lengthy post because so much has happened since November.

I entered the Maya Road home for the holidays competition and was chosen as one of their finalists. Iwas speechless (which is very unusual) and since then my entry has been made into a Maya Road recepie card. I've added a photo of my winning entry and of another item I made, just in case I didn't like the first one.

Wow it's been a long time since I've added anything to my blog, I've been suffering with my back and just haven't been doing alot of scrapping.

Crop Royale

Hello all, I know it's been a full week since Crop Royale, and it's taken me that long to recover from it!!!!

What can I say The Queen of the Crop herself - Lorraine Bate organised the fabuolus Crop Royale, it was amazing from the Royal greeting to the delicious cupcakes adorned with hand made crowns and butterflies, just beautiful. We were all treated like royalty. I still haven't finished all my projects (can't decide what photos to use) but as soon as I do I will post them. My favourite classes were all of them, but I have to say Sarah's class ROCKED (and not just because she's my bestie) Sarah taught a few cool techniques and used the wonderful MAYA ROAD products that I can't get enough of.

Lorretta Grayson taught a fantastic paper piecing class, something I haven't done in a long time and she has inspired me to get back into it, Lorretta is an amazing scrapbooker and an even better teacher. Lorretta if I were in QLD I'd be a regular at your classes. Well I could go on and on about the wonderful teachers, the girls from Bella were great, along with Jen Hall - amazing as always, along with Leanne Hand and Ree Roffey.

I really don't know how to describe this day to you all, other than happy, sad and bursting with pride. My beautiful girl was transformed into a beautiful princess. The year 12 formal had finally arrived, we searched and searched for the perfect dress, shoes, handbag, jewellery, and all the other little things that go with events such as this, and when it all came together it was (to me) perfection.

I won't go on and on, BUT I will let you know that Jessica and her partner Michael won the cutest couple (this was awarded on the night) and well what can I say "That's my Baby" LOL. Ok enough of the puffed out chest, hope you see these Rena'e and Karen, don't worry I will send you copies of all the photos all 223 of them - LOL
